Brazilian CS2 team LEGACY officially announced on Monday that 23-year-old Lucas Menegini (ID: lux) has been relegated to the bench. According to Dust2.com.br, his successor is expected to be former Fluxo captain Andre Piovizan (ID: arT).
Lux previously served as the in-game leader for ex-Paquetá, DETONA, Cruzeiro, Fluxo, and paiN. His best achievement was reaching the playoffs of both the PGL Copenhagen Major and the Perfect World Shanghai Major with paiN in 2024. Since joining LEGACY in early 2025, he has played on 249 maps and participated in 5271 rounds, achieving an average rating of 1.03. He also led his team to one championship and one runner-up finish at the CS:GO Asia Invitational and the PGL Bucharest Masters that same year.
However, LEGACY's competitive performance plummeted at the beginning of 2026: they were eliminated at the bottom of the first stage of IEM Krakow, and then finished third in the inaugural BetBoom Rush B Summit. These consecutive setbacks forced LEGACY's management to make a last-minute roster change, hoping to regroup before the PGL tournament in February.
All indications suggest that Lux will not be traveling with the team to the PGL Cluj-Napoca event in Bucharest, Romania, from February 9th to 23rd. The current LEGACY roster is as follows:
Rifleman/Sniper: Eduardo Volkermer (ID: dumau)
Rifleman/Sniper: Bruno Reberato (ID: latto)
Rifleman: Vinicius Pereira (ID: n1ssim)
Sniper: Guilherme Pacheco (ID: saadzin)
Coach: Bruno Rivitti (ID: RiVAS)
Substitute: Lucas Menegini (ID: lux)
