Counter Strike 2: Fluxo officially part ways with head coach tacitus..

Brazilian Counter Strike 2 club Fluxo announced on Wednesday via their official X (Twitter) account that they have parted ways with head coach, tacitus.

According to Fluxo's official statement, the entire club expressed their gratitude to tacitus for his past contributions to the team and wished him all the best for the future.

This announcement marks the end of tacitus's 21-month tenure with Fluxo.

During his time with the team, he led them to early exits in the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Rio Americas Closed Qualifier and two domestic offline tournaments, causing their VRS ranking to drop from 38th to 63rd, prompting management to make another round of roster changes.

It is worth mentioning that this is Fluxo's second roster change in two weeks.

At the end of January, the team also announced the benching of their former In-Game Leader, arT.

His position has been replaced by former MIBR In-Game Leader, exit.

The former has now joined Legacy as their starting player.

tacitus, 26, was born on November 25, 1999, in Brazil. He became a professional Counter Strike esports player in 2016, playing for teams such as Dai Dai Gaming, Blight Gaming, Team Descend, and Big Frames, before retiring in 2020.

After retiring, he joined Triumph as an analyst and coach in 2020, and later served as an assistant coach for FURIA and a strategic coach for MIBR.

In April 2024, tacitus joined Fluxo as head coach.

During his tenure, the team roster underwent several changes. He led the team to qualify for the BLAST.tv Austin Major and the StarLadder Budapest Major, but they were eliminated in the first stage both times, finishing 15th-16th and 9th-11th respectively.

Meanwhile, Fluxo has also won a series of championships in the South American domestic region, including multiple CCT tournament titles, and two offline trophies at the Desafio Brasileiro de Esports Finals and Circuit X Retake São Paulo. However, they have failed to qualify for most international tournaments and performed only moderately in the few that they have made it into.

Fluxo's current roster is as follows:

AWP-er: zevy

Support: kye (on-loan from FURIA Academy)

Rifler / In-Game Leader: Lucaozy

Lurker: decenty

Lurker / In-Game Leader: exit
