Passion UA's breakthrough player Grim is close to joining NRG; negotiations are in the final stages.

According to a recent report from Dust2.us, Passion UA's entry fragger Michael Wins (ID: Grim) joining the North American CS2 team NRG is almost a done deal. The two sides are currently in the final stages of negotiations, but it remains to be seen which player Grim will replace on the NRG roster.

Grim, 25, is a native American player who has played for several CS:GO teams throughout his career, including Broken Alliance, SoaR, Dignitas, AZIO, Spacestation, The Quest, Triumph, Bad News Bears, Liquid, and Complexity. His most notable achievements include reaching the Legends stage of the 2021 PGL Stockholm Major and the 2024 PGL Copenhagen Major.

Since joining Passion UA in August 2025, Grim has played on 98 maps and participated in 2123 rounds, achieving an average rating of 1.15. He also helped the team reach Stage 3 of the 2025 StarLadder Budapest Major, ultimately finishing in 9th-11th place.

Despite Grim's consistent performance, it hasn't shaken Passion UA's determination to rebuild their roster. They've been very active in the past 24 hours, signing Argentine sniper Santino Rigal (ID: try) and Mongolian rifleman Azbayar Monkhbold (ID: Senzu), while relegating Norwegian sniper Haakon Verli (ID: hallzerk) to the bench.

As of now, NRG has not commented on the Dust2.us report. The team's current roster is as follows:

Breakthroughist/Band: Nick Cannera (ID: nitr0)

Free agent/sniper: Alan Grosbeek (ID: Sonic)

Sniper: Joshua Yan (ID: oSee)

Rifleman: Alexander Bro (ID: br0)

Rifleman: George Endicott (ID: Jeorge)

Coach: Damian Steele (ID: daps)
