Power Rangers unfortunately withdrew from PGL Wallachia S7.

With the PGL Wallachia Season 7 fast approaching, the tournament organizer PGL announced a major roster change today via its official social media platforms.

Power Rangers, the champions of the Eastern European qualifiers, will miss the offline main event in Bucharest, Romania. The Chinese team Vici Gaming (VG) will represent China in the tournament as a substitute.

Regarding the Power Rangers' sudden absence, the PGL official only released a brief statement about the roster change, without disclosing the specific reasons for their withdrawal. This news has left many Dota 2 fans feeling regretful.

As a classic name in the early days of Dota 2, Power Rangers nurtured many renowned Eastern European players such as SoNNeikO and fng. The reason for their withdrawal is currently unclear, but it is widely hoped that this is simply an unforeseen circumstance rather than a sign of the team disbanding.

Regarding the replacement spot, 1w Team, the runner-up team that narrowly lost in the Eastern European qualifiers, was initially in first place. However, due to their core player SSS recently joining PARIVISION, 1w Team was unable to participate due to an incomplete roster. Ultimately, this valuable replacement spot was given to the Chinese team Vici Gaming.

For VG, this is a fantastic opportunity to return to the top international stage. Since their debut at FISSURE Playground 2 last October, the team has undergone a significant roster overhaul. Now, with a fresh look, VG will once again embark on their journey in Tier 1 tournaments.

The PGL Wallachia Season 7 offline tournament will officially kick off on March 7th. Whether VG, who are competing as a replacement team, can maintain their composure and perform well in Bucharest will be one of the key focuses of this event.
