Danish coach Karrigan is about to leave FaZe, and his next destination is expected to be Falcons.

According to French CS2 journalist Sebastian Perez (ID: KRL) on Sunday, Danish in-game leader Finn Andersen (ID: karrigan) is expected to leave FaZe after IEM Rio. He is expected to join Falcons and replace Damian Tsiolkovski (ID: kyxsan) in the starting lineup.

Various signs indicate that karrigan's departure is closely related to FaZe's recent slump in performance. Since January of this year, FaZe has suffered consecutive setbacks in several S-level tournaments, including IEM Krakow, PGL Cluj-Napoca, ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 1, and the BLAST Spring Open, ultimately missing out on IEM Cologne due to insufficient points. After confirming their elimination from that tournament, a demoralized FaZe suffered another defeat at the beginning of this month at PGL Bucharest, losing to Inner Circle and finishing last in the group stage.

Following the defeat, karrigan admitted he was prepared to leave the team: "I have informed FaZe that I am prepared to step down if necessary. There must be a problem now. I just want FaZe to return to its peak, whether I am there or not."

The 35-year-old karrigan played for FaZe twice at different stages of his professional career, leading the team to 18 S-level tournament titles, including the PGL Antwerp Major, IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne, IEM Sydney, IEM Chengdu, and multiple ESL Pro League titles. Besides FaZe, he has also played for several other CS teams, including MOUZ, Fnatic, Playing Ducks, n!faculty, Reason, LeftoverZ, CPH Wolves, Dignitas, TSM, SoloMid, Astralis, and Envy.

If FaZe ultimately joins Falcons, the team's roster is projected to be as follows:
