Passion UA rifler Grim has been relegated to the bench and will next join NRG team.

Ukrainian CS2 team Passion UA announced on Thursday that 25-year-old Michael Wins (ID: Grim) has been relegated to the bench.

Grim, an American rifler, has played for numerous CS:GO teams throughout his career, including Broken Alliance, SoaR, Dignitas, AZIO, Spacestation, The Quest, Triumph, Bad News Bears, Liquid, and Complexity. Since joining Passion UA with the Complexity roster in August 2025, he has played on 103 maps, participated in 2242 rounds, achieved an average rating of 1.14, and helped his team reach Stage 3 of the StarLadder Budapest Major that year.

Multiple sources have confirmed that this roster change is related to Grim's impending move to the North American team NRG. The two sides are currently in the final stages of negotiations, but it remains uncertain which player Grim will replace on the NRG roster.

To fill the void left by Grim's departure, Passion UA signed 19-year-old Mongolian rifler Azbayar Munkhbold (ID: Senzu) on loan from The MongolZ earlier this month. Passion UA coach Tian Korzen (ID: Tc) explained to HLTV during the fifth Rome Empire Cup: "When Mike received an offer from NRG, or rather, when NRG formally offered to acquire him, the situation clearly changed. We had to speed things up and complete the transfers and acquisitions of new players much faster. NRG's interest in Mike was almost the trigger for all of this, and we had to act quickly."

He added, "We've been playing together for three or four years, and there's no animosity between us. This transfer is a logical choice for Mike. He wants to join an American team so he can spend more time at home. His family and girlfriend are in the United States."

With Grim relegated to the bench, Passion UA's current roster is as follows:
