PGL announced on its official Twitter account on Tuesday that former players from the Southeast Asian powerhouse Aurora Gaming's Dota 2 roster have formed a new team, Moodeng Warriors.
According to PGL's official statement, the Moodeng Warriors roster will consist of four former Aurora members: Abed (midlaner), JT (off-laner), Jabz (soft support), and Oli (hard support).
Another member is 423 (carry), a Mongolian player from the British powerhouse Into The Breach (ITB), which went bankrupt and was dissolved last month due to the misappropriation of funds by its CEO, Sam Cook (STM).
Moodeng Warriors will make its debut in the PGL Wallachia Season 4 Southeast Asian Closed Qualifiers.
Last Tuesday, Aurora suddenly announced that it would dissolve its current Dota 2 roster, causing quite a stir. During this spell, they finished 7th in The International 2024, DreamLeague Season 23 and PGL Wallachia Season 1.
