Southampton is at the bottom of the table, but coach Juric is confident of a comeback

Southampton is about to face Bournemouth at home, and despite the team's poor performance in the Premier League, coach Ivan Juric still showed confidence in winning the game.

In the Premier League this season, Southampton has only won two games and is at the bottom of the table with only 9 points. It is also the team with the fewest goals in the English 4th-tier league. Southampton's points are 10 points behind the safety zone and 7 points behind Ipswich, which is ranked 19th.

Not only did Southampton perform poorly in the Premier League, but they also lost 0-1 to Championship club Burnley in the FA Cup last week and were eliminated. At the pre-match press conference, Juric did not lose confidence because of the poor results.

"For us, every game is a must-win game. We really want to win," Juric said. "It's a good feeling and now we believe we can win the game. We played well in the last game and are ready now."

"I've never been through anything like this before. When I coached Genoa, we were also fighting against relegation and finally managed to stay in Serie A in 2017.

"But it's a completely different situation, a different culture, the two can't be compared. Right now we are at the bottom of the table. We are training hard, the players have confidence in themselves and we will try our best."
