About LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM is a popular Korean idol girl group launched by Source Music, the sub-label of one of the four Korean biggest agencies, Hybe that owns the popular boy group BTS.
This girl group had already received huge attention before their official debut because some of its members, Huh Yun-jin (Korean-American), Kim Chae-won (Korean), and Miyawaki Sakura (Japanese - nicknamed Sakura, also a former member of the popular Japanese idol girl group AKB48 and HKT48), had participated in the large-scale limited idol girl group survival program "Produce 101" (the Korean version of the Creation Camp) held by the Korean pay TV station Mnet. The latter two were later selected as members of the project girl group IZ*ONE with high votes.
The group also includes Hong Eun-chae (Korean), Kazhuha Nakamura (Japanese), as well as Kim Ga-ram (Korean), who was forced to leave the group shortly after his debut due to school bullying controversy.
Since their debut, this fifth-generation Kpop girl group has become popular all over the world with hit songs such as FEARLESS, ANTIFRAGILE, UNFORGIVEN, Perfect Night and EASY. They have won numerous awards at major award ceremonies and held their first world tour since their debut in 2024.
