Premier League – Lisandro shows red card, Manchester United lose 1-2 to Leeds United

The final match of the 32nd round of the 2025/26 Premier League season saw Manchester United, playing at Old Trafford, come back from two goals down after Lisandro was shown a red card and sent off. Although Casemiro scored a goal later in the game, Manchester United ultimately lost 1-2 to newly promoted Leeds United.

Three minutes into the match, Leeds United launched an attack, with Gudmundsson chipping a pass from the left wing into the box. Calvert-Lewin attempted a close-range shot, but it was cleared by Manchester United goalkeeper Lamens. In the 5th minute, Jaden Bogle's cross was cleared, and Okafor volleyed home from inside the box, giving Leeds United a dream start, 1-0.

In the 12th minute, Manchester United attempted a counter-attack. Casemiro played a long pass, and Diallo controlled the ball before unleashing a long-range shot from the edge of the penalty area, but the ball was caught by Leeds United goalkeeper Carl Dalow.
