Frimpong envisions Liverpool ending the season on a strong note.

The 34th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season will feature another key match, with Liverpool hosting Crystal Palace at Anfield. Frimpong stated that the upcoming game is as important as a 'final,' and he aims to secure Champions League qualification with a strong performance.

In the Merseyside derby in the last round of the league, Liverpool defeated Everton 2-1 thanks to a goal from Salah and Van Dijk.

After securing three crucial points, Liverpool now sit 5th in the league table with 55 points. With the Premier League now offering an extra Champions League spot, the race for Champions League qualification is even more intense for Liverpool compared to other teams.

Liverpool defender Frimpong said: "Winning the derby is very important for us and the fans after our Champions League exit. The team atmosphere is great right now, and everyone is really looking forward to Saturday's game because Crystal Palace have beaten us three times this season. Obviously, we want to prove we can beat them and we're really looking forward to this match."

"The upcoming games are all crucial, and we hope to win the last five. I think we can do it. Although we may not be able to finish the season in a so-called peak way, we can finish with a series of victories. That's exactly what we want to do, so we will give it our all."

Frimpong emphasized, "We hope to finish strong and qualify for the Champions League. These matches are like finals, and we will give it our all and be 100% committed."

In their head-to-head record, Liverpool have only managed one win, one draw, and three losses in their last five encounters with Crystal Palace, including a 1-2 away defeat in the first leg of this season's Premier League and a 0-3 elimination by Crystal Palace in the English League Cup.

Frimpong continued, "We are 100% going to get our revenge. In my first game for Liverpool, they beat us in the Community Shield, then knocked us out of the League Cup, and of course, they also beat us at home."

"Being beaten by the same team three times is definitely not a good thing, so this is a very important game, and we must go out there and show our true strength."
