West Ham United manager Graham Potter has confirmed that Lucas Paqueta will miss the Premier League clash with Arsenal after suffering an ankle injury in training. Lucas Paqueta will need to rest for a week or two after suffering the injury in a collision during the build-up to the game against Arsenal.
In addition, Graham Potter also revealed in the press conference that right-back Vladimir Caofar will also miss the game due to a hamstring injury.
Manager Graham Potter said: "For Lucas Paqueta, it was just a training incident and it was not a big problem. Lucas Paqueta sprained his ankle and he had a minor collision with Aaron Wan-Bissaka in training.
"Lucas Paqueta has sprained his ankle so he won't be available against Arsenal and he might not be available against Leicester either. But we'll see how it goes because his ankle is a bit swollen at the moment."
"We will deal with it, but I think he will probably be out for one to two weeks. Also, the news is similar to what we had before, Vladimir Caofar is still feeling discomfort in his hamstring. So he will not be there against Arsenal, but he has a chance to play against Leicester."
