Eddie Nketiah delighted with his first Premier League goal for Crystal Palace

Eddie Nketiah scored his first Premier League goal for Crystal Palace in their match against Aston Villa. In the end, Crystal Palace successfully defeated Aston Villa with a score of 4-1.  

Eddie Nketiah said: "We are very happy to have won. This is my first victory in the Premier League for Crystal Palace. I feel good and I am happy to share this happy moment with my family, friends and teammates, so I am really happy."  

"We had to make some small tactical adjustments at some points. I thought we defended well most of the time and limited the opponent's offense, but we probably didn't take advantage of our opportunities in the first half."  

"I thought we played well in the first and second half and when Aston Villa scored we reacted well but I thought it was a really dominant performance. I admit we did miss some chances in the first half but we played well in the second half. It's great that we got the win and ended a losing streak at home."  

“I just wanted to try and come in and influence the game and hopefully dictate the outcome of the game,” Eddie Nketiah said when asked what manager Oliver Glasner said to him before he came on late in the second half.  

"Obviously I didn't play too long but I felt really good to be out there. After the win, there was a lot of buzz in the dressing room and everyone was happy. So it was a good moment for all of us."  

"I would like to get more playing time though, but that's life. Regardless, I will keep working hard as long as I get the chance and hopefully I can perform better in the future."
