Team reporter: The Suns have no intention of trading Booker unless the player himself requests it

According to team reporter Gerald Burgett, the Phoenix Suns do not consider Devin Booker to be for sale.

If the Suns decide to rebuild, Kevin Durant, 36, is likely to leave the team this summer. As for Devin Booker, the Suns have no interest in trading him, but plan to rebuild the lineup around him. Gerald Burgett made it clear on the PHNX Sports podcast: "Multiple sources told me that unless the Suns go further in the playoffs, they will be open to all possibilities this summer. But there is one exception - Devin Booker will never be traded."

Booker's contract with the Suns will last until 2028. As a star who is still in his prime, the Suns have no reason to send him away. Burget further pointed out that the only possible situation for a deal is if Booker himself applies. Booker is still loyal to the Suns, but if the team lacks championship strength for a long time, it is not ruled out that he will seek to leave the team.
