Raptors officially announce Orlando Robinson's promotion to regular and sign Jared Roden to two-way contract

The Toronto Raptors announced on Tuesday that Orlando Robinson has been awarded a standard NBA contract. He will play for the Raptors until the end of this season, and other details are not yet known.

Orlando Robinson, 24, plays center and spent three years at California State University, Fresno. In July 2022, he joined the Miami Heat's affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, after being undrafted.

So far, Orlando Robinson has played 93 regular season games for the Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors, averaging 3.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. So far this season, he has played 26 games for the Kings and Raptors, averaging 4.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.

After Orlando Robinson confirmed his promotion, the Raptors used his freed-up two-way contract to sign Jared Rodon. According to team policy, the specific details of the contract will not be disclosed.

Jared Roden, 25, is a forward-guard swingman who played for four years at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. He entered the NBA by signing a two-way contract after being undrafted in 2023. So far, he has played 36 regular season games for the Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors, averaging 3.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.
