Former Sevilla and Manchester City star Alvaro Negredo released a video on Thursday, confirming that he would end his 20-year professional career from today. He has been unemployed at home for 8 months since leaving Valladolid in July last year.
39-year-old Alvaro Negredo was born in Madrid, Spain, and plays as a center forward. He made his debut at Rayo Vallecano at the age of 20, and then played for Real Madrid B, Almeria, Sevilla, Manchester City, Valencia, Middlesbrough, Besiktas, Dubai Victory, Cadiz and Real Valladolid.
So far, Negredo has made 695 appearances at the club level, including 23 Champions League games, 10 Europa League games, 361 La Liga games, 68 Premier League games, 35 Turkish Super League games and 36 UAE Super League games.
