Talon official: disbanding its CS2 team and temporarily withdrawing from the professional arena


Talon e-sports club issued an announcement, announcing its temporary departure from the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) arena.


The announcement stated that the adjustment was the result of careful evaluation: "We decided to adjust our strategy to ensure that players maintain the best competitive condition in all necessary events, especially VRS related events."


Subsequently, Talon confirmed that players AZR, hazr, ADDICT, nettik and coach djL officially left the team today. The announcement read: "Talon would like to express our sincere gratitude to the players and coaches for their hard work over the past eight months. They have made great efforts since joining the team in August 2024, and their contributions to Talon are obvious to all. We thank them for their dedication and hard work during this journey and wish them all the best in the future."


Finally, Talon stated that they will continue to pay attention to the dynamics of CS2 events and look forward to returning to the competition when the time is right.


Talon Esports Club was founded by Sean Zhang and Jaz Tan in 2017 and is headquartered in Hong Kong, China. The club operates multiple esports projects such as "League of Legends", "Valorant", "Dota 2", "Overwatch", "Rainbow Six: Siege", "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds", and "Arena of Valor", with its business mainly covering the Asia-Pacific region.


In August 2024, Talon announced the establishment of a Counter-Strike 2 division based in Taiwan, China. The team is currently ranked 105th in the world and has not yet achieved significant results.
