Marco Asensio is delighted with the win and says the team is on track to achieve its goals

In the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, Marco Asensio led Aston Villa to a successful 3-0 victory over Club Brugge. After the game, Marco Asensio expressed his joy at the victory and was happy to bring the fans an unforgettable European night.  

Marco Asensio said: "We are very happy with this victory and we have made it to the quarter-finals, which was our goal. I am very happy for the team and the fans and we will continue to work hard to improve."  

"Every game we play here is incredible, the atmosphere is really good. We are grateful for the support of the fans, their support is one of our motivations and we are really happy. We want to achieve more, so now we need to recover and fight for the next goal."  

Marco Asensio believes he has adapted to life in England and is looking forward to a tough clash with his parent club in the quarter-finals. Regarding Marco Asensio's goal in the Holt Stand, Marco Asensio said: "I like to score goals there. I feel very motivated and happy for the goals and my contribution to the team."  

"We're still getting used to all the new players, but I feel like we're heading in the right direction and we're going to keep working at it. I'm comfortable here and getting along well with my teammates, so I'm going to keep going."
