French e-sports powerhouse Vitality to establish the French Professional E-sports Club Union (UFCEP) with several organizations in the country..

French e-sports powerhouse Vitality announced on Wednesday through its official X (Twitter) account that its team will establish the French Professional E-sports Club Union (UFCEP) with several organizations in the country.

According to Vitality's official statement, the original intention of establishing UFCEP is not only to promote e-sports activities and tournaments in France more actively, but also to provide a platform for the country's professional e-sports teams, players and partners to protect their rights and interests and obtain commercial cooperation opportunities.

Including Vitality itself, 10 other local French professional organizations have agreed to become founding members of the UFCEP, including:

AEGIS

• BK ROG

• Galions

• GameWard

• Gentle Mates

Ici Japon

• JobLife

• Karmine Corp

Mandatory

• Solary

BDS

• Vitality

The following figures will become founding officers of the UFCEP:

• Nicolas Maurer (Vitality co-founder and CEO) - President

• Arthur Perticoz (former CEO of Karmine Corp) - Secretary General

• Alexander Job (Galions CEO) - Treasurer

• Xavier Oswald (Gentle Mates Executive Director) - Advisor

• David Laniel (GameWard President) - Advisor

• Shaunz (AEGIS founder) - Advisor

The union will operate independently in a non-profit form without the jurisdiction of any organization, and the member organizations will supervise each other to ensure that the committee and members of the association will not abuse their power.

Although the union seems to be mainly established for the sake of professional teams of Counter Strike 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League and EA FC (FIFA), UFCEP will not set restrictions on teams of other games to join the union.

As long as it is a qualified French professional e-sports team, even if it is a professional e-sports team of any game such as Dota 2, Honor of Kings, PUBG, Marvel Rivals, Rainbow Six: Siege, etc., is welcome to join UFCEP.
