Sandro Mamukelashvili becomes first player to score 34 points in 19 minutes


Sandro Mamukelashvili, currently a center with the San Antonio Spurs, became the first player to score 34 points in less than 20 minutes of playing time.  

 

Sandro Mamukelashvili scored a career-high 34 points on 13-of-14 shooting in 19 minutes, becoming the first player in NBA history to score 34 points in less than 20 minutes. The record came in the San Antonio Spurs' 120-105 win over the New York Knicks.  

 

Sandro Mamukelashvili made 7 of 7 three-pointers and played 8 minutes in the first half, scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. The player successfully helped the San Antonio Spurs lead by 28 points. Sandro Mamukelashvili scored 21 points in the final quarter and successfully helped the team secure the victory.  

 

It was San Antonio's most exciting win since Victor Umbanyama and De'Aaron Fox were sidelined with injuries.
