Dorival Junior reveals talks with Ancelotti about Enderique's development

Brazil national team coach Dorival Júnior revealed that he recently spoke with Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti about Enderique's development.

The 18-year-old Enderique came from the Palmeiras youth training camp and moved to Real Madrid last summer. So far, Enderique has played 28 times for Real Madrid and scored 6 goals. Due to Enderique's limited playing time, he is worried about whether he can be selected for the 2026 World Cup squad.

When the Brazilian national team announced its roster for this month's World Cup qualifiers, Enderique was not on the list, but when Neymar was injured and unable to play, Enderique was called up.

"Under the Palmeiras training system, Enderique has laid a good foundation, and now his maturity has greatly improved. This is a natural process. I believe that in one year in Europe, his growth rate will far exceed his development trajectory in Brazil."

Dorival also praised Enderique's eye-catching performance in training, saying: "Enderique attracts everyone's attention in every training session. Now it's just a matter of time. Once the team does better in balance and stability, we can make full use of Enderique's strength and let him play a greater role."
