Ruben Amorim insists Bruno Fernandes will not leave Manchester United

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but manager Ruben Amorim has refuted the speculation.

According to media reports, Real Madrid seems to be interested in Fernandez. Coincidentally, Fernandez had mentioned that he had received transfer offers in the past, but he eventually chose to renew his contract with Manchester United.

Manchester United is about to challenge Nottingham Forest away. At the pre-match press conference, reporters mentioned rumors about Fernandes' transfer. Amorim firmly denied it and said that Fernandes is the player they want.

Amorim said bluntly: "It's not going to happen. We want Bruno to stay here because, as I said, in the most difficult moments of the season, we still want to win the Premier League. Therefore, we need the best players to stay in the team."

"Bruno, 29, is still young and can play 50 to 55 games a season. His total number of goals and assists can reach at least 30 per year. This is the player we want to keep and he is not going anywhere."

When asked if Fernandes had spoken to Amorim about his future, Amorim replied: "I can feel that Bruno is really happy here, especially because he understands our goals.

"He is passionate about Manchester United, there is no doubt about that. Maybe sometimes his emotional expression on the court can be misunderstood by the outside world, but it just proves how much he wants to win. This is the player we want, and he will not leave because I have told him so!"
