Five minutes into the game, Stuttgart's corner kick was cleared, and Angelo Stiller scored from outside the penalty area, giving Stuttgart a 1-0 start. In the 57th minute of the second half, Demirovic assisted Waltermade to score, helping Stuttgart continue to lead Leipzig 2-0.

In the 62nd minute, Orban made a lob pass to the penalty area, and Sheshko scored after receiving the ball, helping Leipzig to tie the game at 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Jamie Llewellyn managed to break through the Leipzig goal despite the defense.

In the end, Stuttgart defeated Leipzig 3-1 at home and successfully advanced to the final.

Stuttgart coach Hoeness said, "We have realized a small dream and we are of course very happy to have reached the final. The support from the fans is amazing and they have given us great motivation. I would like to give special praise to goalkeeper Alexander Nibel for his outstanding performance."

“We were much more defensive in the second half and had better control of the game. Our second goal came at a good time but unfortunately we conceded the ball soon after, which needs to be improved. However, the team adjusted quickly and responded well. I am very proud of the players’ performance, fighting spirit and reaching the final.”

Waltermade, who scored for Stuttgart, shared, “This is one of the best moments in my career. We won a tough semi-final and it was really emotional. Our whole team tried our best and risked our lives to block every shot from the opponent, which became even more important after the difficulties we have experienced in recent weeks.”

"We won't think about the final yet, but one thing is for sure, our goal in Berlin is to win the title. Bielefeld's path to the final is admirable, and every one of their players has considerable quality."

In addition, Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller said, "My goal is definitely the best one in my career. It feels great to win the game and advance to the final, especially after the difficulties in the past few weeks. Reaching the final is an extremely special thing for this city, the club and the fans."
