Boston Celtics break NBA single-season record for most three-pointers made

In Friday's game against the Phoenix Suns, the Boston Celtics completed a milestone feat and officially broke the record for the most three-pointers made in a single season in NBA history!

With 8 minutes and 20 seconds left in the second quarter of the game, Payton Pritchard hit a three-pointer at 45 degrees on the left side, making the Celtics' 1,364th three-pointer of the season, officially surpassing the 1,363 three-pointer record set by the Golden State Warriors in the 2022-23 season.

A few minutes earlier, Kristaps Porzingis used a wonderful fake to shake off the defender, then dribbled to the top of the arc and made a three-pointer to help the team tie the record.

It is worth mentioning that the Celtics also ranked third in history with 1,351 three-pointers last season and eventually won the championship.
