Unai Emery excited about returning to Parc des Princes

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery says his side will travel to Paris with confidence following their seventh straight win in preparation for their Champions League quarter-final first leg.

In this round of the Premier League, Villa defeated Nottingham Forest 2-1 with goals from Morgan Rogers and Doniel Mallon within the first 15 minutes, which not only consolidated their advantage in the standings, but also added chips to return to the highest stage in Europe next season.

Villa is currently on a roll, aiming to qualify for the Champions League for the second year in a row. They even have a chance to secure a spot in next season by winning the Champions League this season. Next up, they face Paris Saint-Germain, the club's most important match since losing to Juventus in the 1982 European Cup quarter-finals.

"We are motivated and very excited," said former Paris coach Unai Emery, who is about to return to the Parc des Princes.

"Paris is the favorite in this round, but we will go all out to prepare for both rounds and make full preparations in all aspects, including tactical deployment, confrontation analysis and how to suppress and dominate the game with our system."
