Official: 2025 KPL Spring Playoffs Schedule and Annual Finals Qualifying Rules Officially Announced

On April 9th local time, the official "Honor of Kings" officially announced the schedule for the 2025 KPL Spring Playoffs. The competition is scheduled to be held from April 24th to May 4th, lasting 11 days.

According to the official announcement, this season's playoffs will adopt a double-elimination system, with each round being a high-intensity confrontation of seven games and four wins (BO7), and will continue to use the global BP plus peak showdown mode. Among them, the global BP requires that heroes in the first six games cannot be reused. When entering the seventh round of the peak showdown, both sides will use the lineup blind selection mode and can freely choose five different heroes.

At the same time, the qualifying points rules for the 2025 KPL annual finals were also released. This year's finals are expected to be held in the Beijing National Stadium "Bird's Nest" in the second half of the year, and a total of 12 teams will be shortlisted to participate. The places for the finals are determined based on the total points ranking of the 2025 KPL Spring and Summer Seasons: the teams ranked 1st to 6th in points will enter the first stage of the "Master Group", and the teams ranked 7th to 12th will be divided into the first stage of the "Elite Group".

It has also been confirmed that the qualifying points for this year's KPL finals are the sum of the points from the spring and summer seasons. If the points are the same, the rankings of the two teams in the summer season will be compared first, and the higher ranking will be given priority. If it is still impossible to distinguish, the specific ranking will be determined by an extra game.
