Virtus.pro rebuilds Dota 2 lineup and joins hands with Chimera players to fight again

Virtus.pro (VP), a veteran Eastern European e-sports team, recently announced a comprehensive rebuild of its "Dota 2" lineup and will use the former Chimera Esports core lineup.

VP is trying to make a comeback in the upcoming DreamLeague Season 26 playoffs. This change of blood symbolizes VP's strong will to regain competitiveness and return to the top. With the official departure of Squad1x and Noticed, VP completely bid farewell to the old lineup and introduced a group of young but experienced players.

The rookie lineup includes TA20000, Lorenof, Daxak, OneJey and Rein. Most of these five people have fought side by side in Chimera Esports. As a result, DreamLeague won the fourth place in the 25th season, which was an impressive performance.

In addition to the lineup update, VP also appointed drAmer as the new head of the "Dota 2" department, emphasizing the comprehensive innovation of the team's strategy. What's more surprising is that VP will no longer represent the CIS region this time, but will be directly invited to compete in the Middle East and Southwest Asia (MESWA) closed qualifier.

The new lineup combines experience and potential. TA2000 made his mark in many international competitions in 2023. Lorenof is young but already has first-line team experience. Daxak is an experienced Eastern European player, and OneJey and Rein form a solid back row.

After the failure of TI2023 and the dismal end of the 2025 qualifiers, VP's reputation was damaged. This major adjustment may be the key step for this legendary team to be reborn.
