ESIC official: Due to participating in match-fixing, a total of 7 members of Mongolian CS2 team ATOX were banned

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) officially announced on Thursday that it has banned members of the Mongolian CS2 team ATOX for participating in match-fixing. The ban takes effect immediately and applies to all ESIC-certified events.

According to the investigation report released by ESIC, ATOX's match-fixing behavior can be traced back to the EPL S20 group match against Falcons on September 12, 2024. The team lost to Falcons 0-2 and fell into the last chance group.

ESIC immediately launched an investigation after receiving the report and disqualified ATOX from participating in CS events such as PGL in March this year. The investigation results showed that ATOX player dobu was the core planner of the match-fixing incident, and kabal was its main accomplice. Analyst nuka made more than 70 suspicious bets in ATOX-related competitions between September 2024 and March 2025.

dobu, kabal and nuka were banned for life for leading and actively participating in match-fixing. As for the other persons involved, ATOX head coach and CEO flyNN was banned for three years for failing to perform supervisory duties. Player MiQ remained silent after accepting hush money and was banned for one year. Two players, AccuracyTG and Zesta, failed to report violations as required and were each banned for eight months.

ESIC finally stated in the report: "We are committed to maintaining the fairness of e-sports events. Once the evidence meets the identification standard, the entire ATOX team will be banned immediately."
