Bournemouth eliminated West Brom 5-1 Iraola: The players made great efforts

With goals from Kluivert, Dango Ouattara, Semenyo and Jebsen, Cherry Bournemouth beat West Brom 5-1 in the third round of the 2024/25 FA Cup. Andoni Iraola praised the players' performance in an interview, saying that the players still made great efforts when playing in positions they were not good at.

Speaking of striker Dango Ouattara who contributed two goals in this game, Andoni Iraola said, "He performed very well. He also played as a No. 9 in the national team. He usually plays as a winger, but sometimes he plays as a center forward. We also have some players including Semenyo, Kluivert and Dango Ouattara. Maybe this is not their best position, but they can do it."

On the other hand, West Bromwich Albion interim coach Chris Bruyant said in an interview, "It's extremely disappointing to lose, and losing by a big score is even more difficult to accept."

"We started well and scored the first goal, but the next period was probably the worst. Bournemouth showed their Premier League level in this game."
