Team Liquid wins PGL Wallachia title for second consecutive year

In the PGL Wallachia Season 4 finals that ended on April 28, the current International Invitational champion Team Liquid narrowly defeated its rival PARIVISION 3-2, successfully defending the title and winning its second championship trophy this year.

This year's PGL Wallachia adopted the Swiss system for the group stage. Team Liquid and PARIVISION both performed strongly in the early stages and both advanced to the knockout stage. Team Liquid defeated Tundra Esports and Team Spirit in the knockout stage, but lost to PARIVISION in the winner's bracket final and was forced to break out of the loser's bracket again. Afterwards, they returned to the finals with a sweep of Tundra Esports to face a strong opponent.

In the finals, Team Liquid took the lead and won two games in a row, and it seemed that they were about to sweep their opponents. However, PARIVISION showed great resilience and won two games in a row, dragging the game into the final round. In terms of individual performance, Liquid's miCKe stepped forward in key games many times, using Nature's Prophet and Gyrocopter to lead the team to consecutive wins; and Nisha became a god in the final game, with 22 kills, 14 assists and only 2 deaths, making great contributions to Team Liquid's winning of the championship trophy.

With this victory, Team Liquid not only won the $300,000 championship prize, but also consolidated its dominance in this year's international arena. Although PARIVISION finished second, it still won $175,000 in prize money and achieved its fourth top three result in the top event this year, showing its strength that should not be underestimated.
