League of Legends has a confusing bug

The 2025 season (Season 2) of League of Legends has officially begun, and with the 25.09 patch released earlier today, the game has ushered in one of the largest updates of the year. However, in addition to the massive changes, Riot Games also accidentally introduced a serious BUG that is enough to ruin the player's gaming experience.

For some inexplicable reason, players can now "sell" their own recall button, thus permanently losing the ability to recall the city for the entire game. Although the newly added "Spirit Flower Festival" theme map in Summoner's Canyon is beautiful, forcing players to spend time appreciating the scene in this way is obviously not the best experience design.

This outrageous vulnerability was exposed by Vandiril, a well-known content creator and "bug catcher" in League of Legends, who has more than one million followers on YouTube. According to the video he posted, just right-clicking the recall button on the HUD will make the recall function and its icon disappear and cannot be restored. Pressing the B key to recall will completely fail, and even searching for "recall" in the store will not find the relevant props. Even selling the recall button in the fountain and trying to click the undo button cannot restore the loss of the recall function.

Vandiril sarcastically titled the video "Riot finally added an 'awesome' feature!" Players in the comment section expressed their shock and laughter, with one highly-rated comment writing, "To be honest, I didn't expect this kind of outrageous content before clicking in." It is worth mentioning that this seems to be the first time such a bug has appeared in the 16-year history of League of Legends.

So far, Riot Games has not made an official response to the BUG or issued an in-game warning. But considering that this problem greatly affects the gaming experience, I believe they will fix it urgently soon.
