Fruitcupx: I have been removed from the BOSS team and am very disappointed with my performance.

American CS2 pro player Gavin Norman (ID: Fruitcupx) recently confirmed on the X platform that he has parted ways with the BOSS team.

The statement read: "I would like to inform everyone that I have been removed from the BOSS team. Learning everything under stanislaw's guidance has been a difficult transition period for me. I am very disappointed with my performance last month. I am deeply sorry to everyone who cheered me on when I underperformed."

Fruitcupx, 24, previously played rifle for CS teams such as Snakes Den, Final Form, BOSS, and BLUEJAYS. He developed a strong connection with BOSS and rejoined the team in June 2025.

To date, Fruitcupx has played 145 maps and participated in 3010 rounds for BOSS, with an average rating of 1.13. However, his performance has been lackluster since BOSS reorganized its roster in January of this year, with an average rating of only 0.86 across the last 22 maps.

After a lackluster January, the loss in the North American Renaissance Cup S12 finals became the direct trigger for the split between the two teams. BOSS lost to LAG in this match and finished as runner-up, while Fruitcupx's individual rating was only 0.81.

As for Fruitcupx's successor, it is currently unknown. The current roster for BOSS is as follows:
