A bizarre bug has been discovered in League of Legends: the return button can be sold

Recently, a major bug in "League of Legends" was exposed, which is that players can actually sell the "return to city" button as a prop.

The news was released by well-known game content creator Vandiril in a video on May 1, pointing out that in version 25.09 updated on April 30, players can sell the "Return to City" button, and once sold it cannot be retrieved and the return to city function can no longer be used.

The triggering method of this BUG seems simple but is fatal. In Vandiril's actual test video, after the player controls Blitzcrank to return to the base, the return button appears in the store interface and can be clicked to sell like normal equipment.

However, once sold, the player will lose the ability to return to the city permanently during the entire game, which means that the player must walk across the battlefield back to the base or choose "die in battle" to return to the starting point. What's more regrettable is that this key button cannot be restored and has no gold value.

This means that even if the player accidentally clicks to sell, the system will not give any compensation. For a game with intensive operations and a tight rhythm, such a mistake will seriously affect the gaming experience. Especially since the return button is close to other inventory slots, the slightest mistake may cause the player to accidentally click it, resulting in irreversible consequences.

Riot Games has not yet responded to or fixed the bug, causing some players to question its quality control capabilities. Community discussions have also intensified, and for ranked players, this is not only a joke, but may also become a key factor affecting victory or defeat.

Therefore, before the official patch is released, players must be careful when opening the store interface to avoid mistakenly selling key functions as "waste". We also hope that Riot Games will respond to this issue as soon as possible to protect the basic gaming experience of players.
