Popular American e-sports team Cloud9 (C9) announced on its official Twitter account on Monday that the team has decided to part ways with its Russian Support Rifler interz from its Counter Strike roster.
According to Cloud9 (C9)'s official statement, everyone in the team are very grateful for interz's past contributions and wish him the best in the future.
Subsequently, interz also personally confirmed the news and posted a message saying that he welcomes all teams to approach him.
Regarding interz's departure, many fans believe that because of his good personal performances, many people feel sorry for his departure.
With interz's departure, it also means that C9's current Counter Strike roster has been dissolved.
About interz
interz, 24, was born in Russia on August 4, 2000. He has been active in the Counter Strike competitive e-sports circle since 2017, mainly playing the role of a Support Rifler.
interz was once the ace player of Russian team Gambit, during which he won several Intel Extreme Masters and BLAST Premier Series championships with the team.
In April 2022, interz joined C9, during which he won the Dallas Intel Extreme Masters S17 with the team.
However, due to his declining personal performances, interz was benched in January 2023.
In August of the same year, interz moved to TSM, but his performances during this spell were also quite bad.
In July 2024, interz returned to C9.
After returning to C9 this time, interz helped the team defeated Fnatic in the Perfect World Shanghai Major Opening Stage 2024, but was eliminated after losing to Complexity, paiN and Liquid successively.
