Premier League - Jota scored as Liverpool drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest

The 2024/25 Premier League ushered in the 21st round of competition. Liverpool, who went to the City Football Stadium, fell behind by one goal and finally tied Nottingham Forest 1-1 after Jota scored.

Three minutes into the game, Liverpool took the initiative to attack. McAllister received a pass from Diaz and shot from the top of the penalty area, but the ball went wide. In the fourth minute, Gakpo took the ball and shot from outside the penalty area, but kicked the ball high.

In the 8th minute, Ilanga received a pass from his teammate and passed it straight to Chris Wood who was unguarded and shot low, helping Nottingham Forest take the lead 1-0. In the 14th minute, Ilanga organized a chance and Hudson-Odoi got the ball and shot at the goal, but the ball was caught by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.

In the 25th minute, Liverpool striker Salah made a lob pass to the penalty area, and Gakpo headed the ball but it went high. Three minutes later, Gakpo made a cross from the left, and Soboslai headed the ball but it was blocked by the opponent. In the 35th minute, Diaz received a pass from his teammate and was about to attack, but the opponent saved his chance.

In the 41st minute, Gakpo passed the ball to McAllister at the top of the penalty area and shot, but the ball was blocked by the opponent. Then, Liverpool's cross was cleared, and Arnold pushed the ball after receiving it, but it was also blocked.

Tsimikas assisted Jota to score

In the 51st minute of the second half, Nottingham Forest midfielder Gibbs White passed the ball and Hudson-Odoi shot from outside the penalty area, but the ball was cleared. In the 59th minute, Robertson made a cross and Salah in the penalty area took the ball and shot, but the ball went wide of the post.

In the 83rd minute, Soboslai organized an attack, Salah followed up and shot hard but kicked the ball high and could not cause any threat. In the 88th minute, Salah received a pass from McAllister and shot, but was blocked by Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Sells.

In the second half stoppage time, Liverpool continued to attack. Gakpo received a pass from Van Dijk and shot from the top of the penalty area, but unfortunately the ball was saved by Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Searles.

In the end, Liverpool drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest away from home.
