AG completes takeover of Chinese Dota 2 club TIDEBOUND..

AG announced on Thursday through its official Weibo that the club has acquired relatively new Chinese Dota 2 team TIDEBOUND.

According to AG's official statement, starting today, TIDEBOUND will officially change its name and will play under the AG banner. The club also firmly believes that this merger will convey the spirit of "Chinese Dota will never die" to the world.

In addition, AG will continue to play in the 2025 E-sports World Cup under the name of TIDEBOUND.

All the original members of the TIDEBOUND roster will become members of the AG team.

TIDEBOUND was originally a relatively new Chinese Dota 2 team which was established in early January 2025.

Despite its short history, the team has already achieved significant success and qualified for several major tournaments.

In the first quarter of 2025, TIDEBOUND successfully qualified for three international tournaments, PGL Wallachia Season 3, FISSURE Universe: Episode 4, and PGL Wallachia Season 4, through the China qualifiers.

Among them, they even qualified for the quarterfinals of PGL Wallachia Season 3 with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss, realizing their strength as a dark horse.

Recently, TIDEBOUND also participated in BLAST Slam 3, but lost to Spirit 0:2 in the quarter-finals and could only finish 6th.
