WBG official: NoFe officially resigns as the head coach of the League of Legends division

WBG League of Legends Division released an announcement on Monday night, announcing that Zheng Luzhe (ID: NoFe) will resign as head coach effective immediately. His position is expected to be taken over by Zhou Lipeng (ID: Despa1r), who has served on the coaching staff since April.

The following is the specific announcement content:

"After full and friendly communication and consultation between the club and myself, Zheng Luzhe (ID: Nofe), the former head coach of the League of Legends Division of Weibo Esports Club, has resigned from his position as head coach and officially left the team with immediate effect.

Coach Nofe joined the team as the head coach during the team's renovation in the winter of 2024. After half a year together, I would like to thank Coach Nofe for his hard work and companionship in the WBG TapTap League of Legends division, and also thank the fans for their care and support.

I wish Coach Nofe all the best in the future and a bright future!

See you on the field!"

NoFe, 36, is from South Korea and has coached MVP Blue, NaJin White Shield, ROX Tigers, EDG, Afreeca Freecs, iG, V5 and other teams. In December 2024, he replaced Liang Daren (ID: Daeny) as the head coach of the WBG League of Legends division, responsible for leading the team to the 2024 Demacia Cup and the 2025 LPL season.

NoFe performed well in the early days of his coaching career and led the team to advance to the knockout stage of the second stage of the LPL in 2025. However, WBG only achieved a record of 7 wins and 11 losses in the group stage of the second stage, and its ranking also dropped to 7th in the group.
