CS2: PGL Belgrade 2025, canceled live viewing, changed to studio

The enthusiastic atmosphere of the stadium is not inferior to that of an artist's concert. Under the watchful eyes of the public, in addition to facing the pressure of the crowd, there is also the oppression of opponents. Every subtle movement, change of expression, and on-the-spot operation are all seen and projected on the big screen. Regardless of win or lose, there will be supporters applauding and cheering for you. After all, the atmosphere of the live version and the sense of immersion are far better than the screen of a mobile phone or TV. 2025 PGL Belgrade is one of the most anticipated CS events, originally scheduled to be held from October 25th to November 2nd, with 16 teams competing for a prize pool of up to 1.25 million US dollars. For some unknown reason, there were many obstacles in the preparation of the event. Recently, the official announcement was made that the competition will be changed to a studio. The reason given was unforeseen logistical challenges. Fans were very disappointed and said that their expectations were in vain.

Another PGL event in Krakow was cancelled due to the cancellation of the reserved venue. According to reports, ESL took the lead and removed the venue. The incident happened so suddenly and more than once that even PGL CEO Silviu Stroie couldn't help but shout on social media, naming other event organizers and working together to try to prevent PGL from continuing to organize events.

On the bright side, at least fans can save on travel expenses and ticket fees. If they want a stronger atmosphere, they can invite a group of friends, sit in front of the TV, eat popcorn and watch the game, thus bonding with each other without spending any money.
