HLE narrowly defeated CFO and won a key teamfight to advance to the quarterfinals

On October 24th, HLE defeated CFO 2-0 thanks to their excellent execution in key team battles, and advanced to the quarterfinals.

In the first game, the two teams engaged in a fierce early-game battle . CFO secured the first dragon, while HLE secured three worms. Tsar's crucial ultimate then pushed back three players, helping HLE establish a slight advantage. In the mid-game, CFO successfully secured the Vanguard and opted for a steady fight in the dragon fight, allowing HLE to secure the dragon and Ertahan.

In the latter stages of the game, CFO's Rumble was killed by a tower dive, and Jarvan IV's misplay led to another kill, allowing CFO to control the Dragon. In the decisive moment, HLE seized the opportunity when their opponent recalled to base and controlled both Dragons. Ezreal flashed away, but Clockwork was instantly killed . HLE won the teamfight and ended the game in one go.

At the start of Game 2, HLE's Wei's counter-jungle blunder gave CFO the advantage, who secured the first dragon and tower-crossed top lane to establish a lead. CFO snowballed in the mid-game, securing the dragon and the vanguard in quick succession, reaching for the Alchemist Dragon. HLE's lineup, lacking damage, briefly fell into a passive position.

In a crucial teamfight, Ryze mistakenly drove a hearse and was killed. HLE seized the opportunity to win the fight and disrupt CFO's Dragon Soul. CFO then made mistakes in subsequent teamfights, allowing HLE to secure Caitlyn and take the Baron. Ultimately, HLE pressed on with a decisive push, closing the game with a crushing 2-0 victory and advancing to the quarterfinals.
