Chinese Dota 2 powerhouse Xtreme Gaming has secured a ticket to the 2025 Dota 2 International Invitational (TI 2025) with a dominant performance.
Xtreme Gaming faced almost no challenges in the Chinese qualifiers, only losing one game before reaching the top. On June 12, they swept Yakult Brothers 3-0 in the finals, becoming the second Chinese team to qualify for TI. The only Chinese team directly invited was All Gamers Global.
The qualifiers were fiercely competitive, with many veterans returning to the battlefield, including Azure Ray led by Somnus丶M and Vici Gaming led by KAKA, competing fiercely for the TI seat. Despite this, Xtreme Gaming relied on its strong strength to overcome all obstacles and entered the winner's group final.
In their first match against Yakult Brothers, Xtreme Gaming lost the first game, but then won two games in a row to advance to the finals. Yakult Brothers defeated Tearlaments in the loser group and successfully won a chance for revenge.
Unfortunately, the finals were not as intense as expected. Xtreme Gaming won the first game in 38 minutes, and they suppressed Yakult Brothers for 51 minutes in the second game. In the third game, they won in just 28 minutes, completing a sweep.
Xtreme Gaming has a star-studded lineup consisting of Ame, Xm, Xxs, XinQ and poloson. They have a tacit overall coordination and comprehensive skills, making them one of the most promising teams in the Chinese region. With this victory, Xtreme Gaming will advance to TI 2025 together with Eastern European representative Aurora Gaming and South American champion HEROIC.
