Beşiktaş announced on its official website on Saturday that the club has appointed former Manchester United and Norwegian legendary international forward Ole Gunnar Solskjær as its new head coach.

According to the Turkish Süper Lig giants' official statement, Solskjær has signed on a short-term one-and-a-half-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2026, with an option to extend for a further year.
