Ruud van Nistelrooy says team's performances are not yet at their best

Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy admitted his team had to work harder to score after their 2-0 defeat to Fulham.
Ruud van Nistelrooy said: "It's not just the result, the performance was also unsatisfactory. From all aspects of the game, our performance was not at its best and our strength was weaker. We started well and created some danger in the penalty area."
"We needed some luck to catch the second and third ball, but I think it was the worst performance I've had since I've been here. We played well there, but there were some areas of the game where we didn't perform."
Although the two sides were evenly matched in the first half, Leicester City quickly lost their advantage in the second half. It took the opponent only three minutes to break the deadlock and control the game, and Leicester City could not find a way to counterattack.
Ruud van Nistelrooy also said: "It is not easy to improve the level of the players, but there is still some time before our next game against Tottenham Hotspur. I believe the team can regain confidence."
"We are disappointed and frustrated with the game and we realise we didn't do well enough. It's difficult and we need to think about it and start over and deal with things differently."
"It's important to try to do what we have to do, for the team, to move towards a goal and give ourselves a chance to do well and give ourselves a chance to stay in this league because our performances are not good enough to do that."
