Draymond Green to miss game against Boston Celtics with calf strain

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will miss the team's home game against the Boston Celtics due to a calf strain, while Stephen Curry is uncertain about his ability to play due to a sprained left ankle.  

Head coach Steve Kerr said Draymond Green will undergo an MRI as soon as possible and the Golden State Warriors will provide an update on his injury status after the examination.  

The Golden State Warriors could be temporarily without their defensive leader, who limped off the court with a calf injury just three minutes into their game against the Washington Wizards and was ruled out shortly thereafter. Prior to that, Draymond Green had just returned from missing the previous three games due to illness and back issues.  

Elsewhere, Stephen Curry injured his left ankle near the end of the game against the Washington Wizards, but he said he felt fine in the locker room afterwards.  

The Golden State Warriors have been facing serious injury problems recently. Jonathan Kuminga injured his right ankle on January 4 and will be out for a while. In addition, Brandin Bodemski has been out since December 28 due to an abdominal injury, and Kyle Anderson is out due to a hip injury.
