Zero accuses RNGM of multiple wage arrears and calls on KPL to take action against it

Xie Wensheng (ID: Zero), a former player of the RNG "King of Glory" division (RNGM), recently posted a message on Weibo asking for help and publicly accused the club of repeatedly withholding his salary.

Zero, 24, is a Chinese professional player of King of Glory. He mainly plays roaming positions on the field. He joined RNGM in March 2018 and left the team in June 2024 and resumed his free agent status.

On January 19, local time, Zero posted a message saying that RNG has postponed the repayment date for the fourth time and called on the KPL Alliance to take restrictive measures against it. He wrote on Weibo: "Regarding the indefinite extension of RNG's repayment date (the fourth times), hoping that the KPL League will take measures such as banning clubs without credit from entering the big list. "

The next day, Zero published another article to disclose the details of the salary arrears: "The longest period of time without salary is five months, and it is still three months behind. When he was in service, the league stipulated that if he did not receive salary for three months, he could terminate the contract and become a free agent. Enforcement of regulations? Free labor? "

Zero also posted a similar Weibo in September 2024, revealing that RNG was in arrears of wages. After nearly half a year, the problem of players' wage arrears has not been resolved.

In recent years, RNG Club has been involved in controversy over wage arrears. In December 2024, RNG was exposed to have owed salaries to many well-known players in the "League of Legends" project, including Jian Zihao (ID: Uzi) with a seven-figure income. "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" players Zhou Pinyan (ID: ZpYan1) and Zuo Zixuan (ID: XDD), "Peace Elite" player Zeng Jinxiang (ID: Tianba) and others have also publicly accused RNG of withholding their salaries.

Liu Shiyu (ID: Mlxg), a former professional League of Legends player, sued RNG for this. After retiring, he communicated with the club for two years without success and was eventually forced to take legal action to protect his rights.

In December 2024, RNG was banned by the LPL league from registering new players due to unpaid wages until they repaid the debt. However, they were allowed to continue participating in the first stage of the 2025 LPL after paying the salaries of some staff members.
