FPX official: Former RNG jungler milkyway officially joins

FPX's League of Legends division announced Thursday that former Royal Never Give Up jungler Cai Zijun (ID: milkyway) has officially joined the team. He is expected to replace Ma Chenshuo (ID: iyy) in the starting lineup and will join the team in the 2025 LPL Stage 3.

The announcement reads: "After full and friendly communication and consultation between the club and myself, we are pleased to announce that player Cai Zijun (ID: milkyway) has officially transferred from RNG Esports Club to FPX, and will join us in future competitions as a jungler.

The moon shines brightly, the river casts a shadow. As the team's calm offensive engine, milkyway combines the strength of a jungler with the wisdom of a team-oriented jungler. With his resolute jungle control and keen understanding of the situation, he can always strike decisively in a split second, breaking the deadlock and changing the course of the game. Milkyway, 21, joined RNG's LDL team, RYL, in June 2022 and was promoted to the first team in November of the same year. During his time with RNG, he won the 2023 NEST Annual Finals and was awarded the "Best Rookie" title in both the 2024 LPL Spring and Summer seasons.

Milkyway played for FPX on loan from December 2023 to November 2024. Now, with RNG mired in wage arrears and management crises, he has finally decided to return to FPX.
