JDG was in a slump and was shut out again by IG, winning two consecutive games and consolidating their ranking.

On August 10th , in today's LPL Summer Split match, JDG continued its recent slump, losing 0-2 to the in-form Invictus Gaming (IG) , suffering another shutout and plummeting to the bottom of the rankings. During the match, IG displayed excellent teamfight coordination and tempo control, while JDG displayed various issues of poor form and coordination.

In the first game, IG played steadily in the early stages, quickly establishing an advantage through their dual-carrying units' continuous kills. At the 11th minute, IG took the lead in a teamfight on the Broodlings, successfully taking down two Broodlings and invading the jungle to suppress their opponents, securing the Dragon as well. At the 20th minute and 40th second mark, JDG barely dared to move forward under the threat of multiple crowd control, allowing IG to easily control both the Vanguard and the Dragon.

At 25:47 , a teamfight erupted at Ertahan. IG 's Varus, with his ultimate dodged by extreme positioning, unleashed a frenzied attack, his passive constantly refreshing as he secured a pentakill, helping his team simultaneously capture Ertahan and the Wind Dragon. By 30:34 , IG , with perfect coordination, crushed JDG , securing the first victory.

In the second game, JDG got off to a strong start early. At 11:01 , they capitalized on Annie's first blood and resource control to take the Dragon and two Broodlings, but IG continued to threaten through side lane attacks. At 19:10 , during a fight before the Dragon, IG first killed Rumble, gaining the upper hand. Although their support was counterattacked and killed, they subsequently killed Ertahan, and Kai'Sa secured the victory, putting pressure on JDG .

At 26:04 , IG seized the opportunity, unleashing multiple ultimates simultaneously, killing the mid and support before securing control of the Baron. At 28:17 , JDG attempted to split the field with Rumble, but IG 's double-team trapped them in the river, leaving them with no escape. At 39:04 , with JDG struggling to gain economic advantage, IG adjusted their tempo, using Ornn to lure the enemy, while their dual carries instantly defeated Xayah and killed Rumble, ultimately steadily advancing to close out the game.
