Luis Dias believes team spirit is one of the keys to success

Luis Dias, who currently plays for Liverpool, believes the team's outstanding performance this season is due to the team's spirit of unity.  

In Arne Sloter's first season, Liverpool lost only two of their 33 games in all competitions and topped the Premier League and UEFA Champions League standings. In addition, Liverpool reached the semi-finals in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.  

Luis Diaz said: "We are very happy with the results this season. The key is that we have created a great team and a united family. Whether on the court or in training, I think the coaching staff has always been excellent and played a big role."  

“Also, I think we’ve been working hard on the work we’ve done in training and the exercises we’ve been doing. We’re really at the top of the Premier League and the Champions League and that’s been huge for us because it’s boosted our confidence and we’re going to keep working in the same way.”  

"We have to keep the same motivation because we haven't won anything yet and there is still a long way to go. So we will keep doing the same things and keep working hard. Only in this way can we achieve our goals and keep our minds completely focused on winning."  

Luis Diaz has scored 12 goals this season, just one goal away from his total goal in the 2023-24 season. Luis Diaz also said: "My goal is to achieve my best results. Since returning to pre-season training, I have been working hard to achieve this goal."  

“I always have that mentality when a new season comes around, to try to surpass what I’ve achieved before. So I’m just going to keep working hard and I know this year is going to be much better than last year.”  

"I've been focusing on my personal goals and trying to achieve them, so I feel good and I have confidence in myself. Hopefully we can continue like this so I can do my part for the team, which I think is the most important thing."
