What Happened

On August 26th, Nemesis CEO Momo (X user ID: hedgehog7) posted a complaint alleging that he had lent $1 million to TALON owner Sean at an agreed annual interest rate of 5%. However, Sean delayed repayment of the principal by approximately two months, exceeding the agreed repayment timeframe, and had yet to pay $75,000 in interest.

Momo later released screenshots of their conversations, raising concerns about TALON's financial situation.

As public opinion continued to escalate, Sean finally responded the next day. He defended himself by claiming that he had actually transferred the funds via bank transfer at 10:30 PM Hong Kong time on August 26th, even attaching two screenshots of the bank transfer records. He claimed that delays in the international remittance process between banks had delayed the payment of part of the loan to Momo by several hours.

However, Momo was unconvinced by Sean's explanation. He stated that he would no longer have any financial dealings with him and requested that Riot Games investigate TALON's financial situation.

In fact, prior to this, allegations had surfaced online that TALON was withholding payments to its DOTA 2 players and Valorant coach.

Its former team captain Kuku was alleged to have complained about unpaid wages, leading to a bitter breakup between the two parties in July of this year.
