CS2: South African rifleman Sonic joins NPG team

Every team has a period of turbulence, especially when performance stagnates and fails to meet standards. It is time to reflect on which part has a problem. If performance does not improve after intensive training, it is necessary to reorganize the lineup and introduce new players.

NRG recently announced the signing of South African rifler Sonic, regrettably bidding farewell to original roster member nosraC. This marks the team's third restructuring in two months, and it remains to be seen whether this time around will be a smooth transition. Regarding Sonic's background, he played for Wildcard for the past two years, holding a 1.11 rating and having competed in numerous major tournaments, including BLAST.tv, the Austion Major, and the Shanghai Major.

Furthermore, as a rifler, he briefly served as a temporary commander, which opened up his mind, gave him a completely different perspective, and allowed him to prioritize the overall situation. This was a valuable experience. However, less than a month later, with Stanislaw returning to the main roster, he again stepped down. Despite being replaced, he felt no frustration. After joining NRG, he quickly advanced to the ESL Challenger League Season 50 North American Finals, playing 35 maps and averaging a 0.98 rating per game, indicating significant room for improvement.

Sonic will also make his NRG debut at the Fragadelphia Fragville event, facing strong teams such as Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fluxo, and Marsborne.
