BetBoom successfully advanced to the semi-finals of the TI 2025 upper bracket

In the winner's group quarter-finals of The International 2025 (TI2025), the Eastern European powerhouse BetBoom defeated Nigma Galaxy 2-1 and successfully advanced to the winner's group semi-finals.

BetBoom has always been considered one of the favorites in this tournament, having lost only one series in the group stage, which coincidentally was against Nigma Galaxy. Therefore, this matchup was seen as a battle of revenge.

In the first game, Nigma Galaxy relied on Ghost's Troll Warlord and GH's Phoenix to win the first game after a 60-minute attrition battle. However, BetBoom was not disrupted.

In the second game, BetBoom was suppressed in the early stage, but gpk's Parker and Save-'s Grimstroke kept roaming around to create opportunities, helping Pure's Faceless Void regain the rhythm, and BetBoom successfully completed the comeback.

Entering the final game, the two teams were deadlocked at the start, but as the game progressed, Nigma Galaxy made a series of mistakes. BetBoom seized the opportunity, expanding their lead with stable teamfight execution, and decisively pushed forward at the 43rd minute, ending the game in one go.

This victory not only avenged BetBoom's group stage loss, but also secured them a top-six finish at The International 2025, continuing their consistent performance in recent years. Next, BetBoom will face Team Falcons in the Upper Bracket semifinals, aiming for a higher level.

Nigma Galaxy fell into the loser group, where they will face a life-and-death battle with Team Tidebound. It remains unknown whether they can replicate the loser group miracle of TI 2017.
